Pharmacy Studies
The New Jersey native wanted to attend a larger university with a small-campus feel that had a strong pharmacy program and tons of school spirit. “I like to say UConn checked the most boxes,” she says. Getting involved in Tap Club, working in a pharmacology lab, and sharing her story as a Husky Ambassador opened her eyes to further opportunities.

Political Sciences; Psychological Sciences
At UConn Hartford, Nguyen engages with prospective students as a Husky Ambassador and belongs to World Club, Psychology Club, and UConn Harts Community Outreach Society. Nguyen participates in the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) at the Storrs campus and plans to become an attorney after serving in the military.

Young is a practice player with the Women’s Basketball Team, a First Year Experience mentor, and a member of UConn Consulting Group, but still managed to take an Alternative Spring Break service trip to Detroit and be named a Babbidge Scholar for earning a 4.0 GPA two consecutive semesters.
